!! where did you get those chocolate bars !!

Leftover Halloween candy! Oh how you taunt us so! Have yet to have trick-or-treaters knock on my door but I know it’s coming. And such decadence (and fun) to hide those wild and wacky chocolate flavours in a muffin.

argh – I think my internet connection just went down as I made my comment – it went along the lines of the happy bits in the chocolate reflecting the happy bits in your life – sounds ddelicious

Wonder why they didn’t call it ‘Prime Ministers Choice’?

These look so lovely and perfect! Though I must admit, it is so, so rare for me to have leftover chocolate lying around! Chocolate is bought, purchased, and practically inhaled in our house!

What an excellent notion. Although, does this mean that the chocolate blocks in question weren’t good enough to be eaten on their own? Peanut butter and banana spread milk chocolate sounds like the sort of thing I’d buy on a whim and then regret, so I can understand if so 😉 Peanut butter and banana spread in the midst of a muffin, though…that sounds fail proof.

I have NO Halloween candy. I’m intrigued and I’ve never had a reason to say, “I need to buy all these candy bars to make some muffins.” yes!

That is such a good idea and a great way to use up all those leftover. I love how you call them ‘lucky dips’. And taking home-baked treats into an office building would definitely make you popular. Your week sounds like a whirlwind and new bedding always does wonders for the soul xx

Aw ST. Trust you to do wonders with leftover sweets! LOve the idea of magical mystery muffins – every bite I’d be all “Oh” OOOH” “Was that…?”

Ooh I love the magical mystery lucky dip aspect of these muffins! Such fun and excitement!

How creative … but who has those things leftover?

Yummy big chunks of chocolate in a muffin?! Sign me up!!

I’m trying to figure out how the combination of diner pancakes and vodka would go over….I could see a little bourbon slipped into diner coffee more 😉

Look at you making the most of gross chocolate. I love this and now want to go buy random chocolate bars JUST to make these!

Oooh, clever – I have never thought to put filled chocolate inside baked goods, but it’s a genius idea!

Please explain. Chopin vodka on the rocks? Does that have anything to do with waltzes? Mazurkas? Nocturnes? S’il te plait don’t leave me in the dark here?

My pantry is just full of random candy! It’s crazy because every year we buy candy canes and every year we have loads leftover because they’re sold in enormous bags!

Fun fun! This is rather perfect for a person like moi, who always has a zillion almost-empty packets of things stashed in the pantry. Yay Hannah!
