You ate that creepy neon thing before the Moon Pie?! I’m pissed. 😉

I’ve lived in the Great U.S. of A. my entire life and never heard of Cherry Mash. Cherry Smash — yes. Drunk a few of those. Not proud.

    Perfect description of Walmart.

It’s funny, I think I could tell just from the cross section pic that it was super sweet! I was actually eager to check out Walmart. I was somewhat disappointed that there were no People of Walmart people in the Hawaii branch that I visited.

looks like america’s answer to our cherry ripe – I would be in for a taste

and love that you travel with Aussie coins!

How is it that you still had an Aussie $2 coin in your purse after so much time away and travelling around? Impressive.

I think the Cherry Mash must be an iconic *Midwestern* candy. People from the coasts don’t seem to have heard of it…but then again, people from the coasts tend to forget there’s anything in between said coasts. 😉

Teeth-numbingly-sweet cherry-flavored yummies YAY! Wish I could share one with you RIGHT NOW on the train from Nice to Genoa. <3

I wouldn’t have believed the size if you didn’t put that $2 coin there. Big is right! And pink is definitely right!

Good to see you’ve still got some Australian currency hanging around too 😉

Haha I love the description of such a sweet lolly 😀

Until you put up the photo with the $2.00 coin, I thought this was about the size of those hazelnut chocolates coated in Nutella (because that’s what this looks like until you cut it open). But wow! This is a seriously big mouthful and there’s no mistaking that it’s pink inside. It does look very sweet but that seems to be the American way. I’ve never heard of these before xx

The bright pink scares me a bit, but not as much as those so-called comforters scare me.

Lol, good ol’ Walmart. Except that it’s neither good or old, really, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I’ve never heard of this candy, but it’s massive! And pink! Exclaiming the obvious over here, but still.

I too loved that your yardstick was an Aussie $2 coin. It does look rather too pink for my tastes, and I still don’t like peanut and chocolate. I’m not sure that peanut and cherry is a combination that would work for me either. I did like your Walmart comparisons though- perfect.

I remember going into a target and being so befuddled to see guns behind a counter.

And my god, I love the coin size reference. That thing’s ginourmous!

    You found them!

I am afraid to look at the Bieber link, because I’m afraid I’ll see something I want.

Someday, we should have a Cherry Mash + Shirley Temple party, no?
