I love all of these, but the doughnut stanza is gold.

    Miss you so much!

Isn’t Kvass Russian for some sort of el cheapo beer? My memory is that it didn’t taste very good! Something every engineer should know!

Your Kansas friends must have made it very hard for you to leave their city. Great poem. I’m kind of glad Krispy Kremes aren’t readily available here xx

I feel like I should comment in rhyme as well… but I’m not that talented! Let’s just say I love the look of the PBJ bagel.

food is all about the people you share it with – though krispy kremes are always lacking soul!

I’m confused. Where was Matt while you were snuggling with Amber?

Such a fun post! I’m a bit hungry for a good bagel now…

Adorable. Just adorable. And I totally want the bunny grahams and moose tracks ice-cream.

Never before have I seen so many bread products featured on your blog in so short a period of time 🙂 I think American has turned you! Fortunately it hasn’t interfered with your literary prowess, which dazzles in stanza 6 in particular.

I am a little scared of that Kvass drink.

Love the photos! I’d like to know what’s in a power protein bagel…

Now you’re going to get weirdos directed to your site when they search for “yolk porn.” If that’s a thing. I think I’ll look it up and see.

How boring, it’s just icky egg pictures. It took pages and pages before I got to an image of a tattooed girl standing in front of graffiti.

Eww, no, I wish I could take back my google search. Forget I said anything.

Great poem, and what a lovely photo of Amber. But, poor old Krispy Kreme donut. I do think you’re a bit harsh (not that I’ve ever tried one myself).
