Lovely, Hannah. Atlanta was not looking too thrilling for me but I have hope. Even if we are only there one night. You will have to tell me about the highlights you recommend. 🙂

I live in ATL but you make me want to go back to Leons again. Lol! I can’t wait for you to come back. We will eat all the foods!

Looks fantastic Hannah! You always find the most delicious food. Well I suppose you find your fair share of duds too so I guess it’s only fair you find the good ones too 😉

Oh yes – cocktails are my FAVOURITE. This lemony-joy-bottle sounds delicious. When I was NZ I got chatting to a passionate bar tender who made me a gin-based cocktail with PICKLE JUICE. Yes, it was the best cocktail of my life. Pickley, a little sweet, tangy, salty – glorious. You would have LOVED it I am sure.

I know Atlanta is a good food town, but the heat scares me.

magical dishes indeed! So much yum!

The zucchini fritters are beautiful and sound delicious but I’d probably not be able to eat enough of them to balance out all the cocktails I’d want. Oof.

You look very summery in your t-shirts. The food looks really good and it seems very reasonably priced compared with what we pay here in Australia. Glad you have some wonderful friends to take you to the venues serving the best of US cuisine xx

LOL I love that pic of the kitty cat with its eyes poking out from the bag. It looks like my cat (RIP Otto) used to! Aww I miss him!

I’m loving the food photos, I would not know where to start 🙂

I think I might have skipped straight to that tart 🙂

Ooof, I want to eat all these things, and immediately. But also I want to get hold of some luxardo bitters, if only because it sounds so wondrous.

PS still got my thinking cap on about Williamsburg things. We seemed to drift in and out of places spontaneously but will go back through my instagrams and so on to try remember specifics! xx

Lovely looking food Hannah … and the prices seem very reasonable.

Did you go see Civil War sites??

Oh these dishes look so tasty Hannah. I will definitely put Leon’s on my to do list next time my Husband and I pass through Atlanta on our way to Florida this Fall. I for sure will order those wonderful zucchini fritters 🙂

Wow. That flan and those fritters and the mention of well-selected cocktails. You have me won too! So will you be becoming a cat person?? Just wondering. Xcat

Eeee! Glad you loved Leon’s, it’s a favorite of mine but we don’t go as often anymore because I can’t have the awesome cocktails and it makes me sad. I have memories of sitting at the bar there for an afternoon and *accidentally* eating an entire bucket of those fries with garlic aioli for dinner. It may have happened more than once.

    Retesting our special snickerdoodles tomorrow!
