    I am still wary of sweet nut butters but they always sound good when you rave about them – actually I think I might have stopped at the maple syrup roasted pecans and not ground them up – sounds delicious

    Yeah butterising things! One day when my ship comes in I will buy all the pecans and make this for sure. Okay, maybe two batches, one so I can eat the maple pecans whole from the oven.

    I do fear that my pecans wouldn’t make it into the food processor. I’d probably have to roast a double batch to give me enough to snack on ahead of / during the processing 🙂

    This maple pecan butter sounds so amazing! I bet it would be perfect over ice cream–classic vanilla is always good, but how about fresh peach? OH MAN. I bet it would make the best nut butter and banana sandwich too.

    Looks amazing and delicious but then what wouldn’t be delicious made with those two ingredients. Even separately they rock. Together…blended into a marriage of the flavors…sounds like a food project destined to be made and relished!

    This blog post comes full circle, and that is the greatest. The two words that stick out after reading are butterise and puppies. Do you think butterised puppies would be very very fat puppies? I bet they’d be super cute.

    Oh wow, that looks amazing. I need to try this, sometime soon. I’m not sure that I’ll get to it this week, in fact I’m pretty sure I won’t- too busy eating brussels sprouts and cauliflower in preparation for my exertions in France. But if I wasn’t leaving the country next weekend, I’d be anxiously peering into the top of my blender waiting for this to blend. Actually I think I have some pecans in the cupboard- now I’m too scared to look.
