These looks like the perfect treats to while away the time while you wait for the next adventure 🙂

  2. Johanna GGG

I am intrigued – sounds like a time to embrace and enjoy before change but probably more enjoyed in hindsight than in the moment! Yummy slice. Good luck with the winds of change

  3. Appetite Affliction

These look so damn decadent, tasty and easy! Gonna make them this week x

I can smell the storm…and I hope it carries you back to me soon. 🙂

  5. Daisy@Nevertoosweet

Wow these are so easy to make 🙂 No bake too bonus! I might have to look into making some they seem like great snacks to have as pre or post gym 🙂

  6. Kath Lockett

Ooohh I’ll be able to make these for Sapphire as she’s supposed to avoid sugar because of her lingering weirdo stomach thingy from late 2011 that the docs are still puzzled about….

And the fluttering chest thing as a portent of change to come? I’ve got it here, too, but I think that’s just because school holidays have ended and I’ve got the house back to myself and know that it’s time to get back into the novel…..

  7. CCU

I think I would love to eat every single bar, no sharing 😉

I KNOW this feeling. It’s spring and other things, no? I have it and it is driving me nuts. The only thing for me to do (dark thoughts: no more skiing ie mountain oxygen high!) is to go for a run or attack the garden.

If only my food processor weren’t burnt out I would do this one today! Yesterday I did the chocolate peanut butter brownies with white chocolate – I guess they’ve already been wolfed down!

  9. Kari @ bite-sized thoughts

Remember that feeling Laura Ingalls Wilder used to describe about longing to go West (of course you do)? I think you’re just taking your kinship with Laura to a new, restless level 🙂 More seriously – thinking of you in these exciting times and hoping you skate and fly and giggle and soar in equal measure soon.

I love these squares, too. They remind me of my no-bake brownies with avocado and coconut except the ingredient list is totally different, and it has peanut butter, which means that these are probably better.

  10. leaf (the indolent cook)

This looks delicious and a pretty healthy dessert! And oh, is that the scent of adventure?

What’s with the sudden explosion with Peanut Butter delights! I’m not complaining though, I definitely need more recipes for that good stuff; keeps me from eating it straight from the tub!

  12. Camille

I do know the feeling, I know it well. I’ve been living with it to varying degrees ever since I left the hellhole and struck out on my own. But I’ve never seen it so eloquently described. Thank you.

ST! This is making me wanna dance madly in the moonlight. In fact, as soon as saw your FB update I wanted to dance in the moonlight…madly. I mean, hello to Chocolate. Peanut Butter. Coconut.

  14. Maira

It’s so much fun to read your blog! Just I wanted to say hi. Have a great week!

  15. whisperinggums

Great post Hannah … change is coming of course and I bet it will be every bit as good as the changes over the past few months. Just be patient … x

Sending virtual hugs and puppy snuggles your way …

  17. Hotly Spiced

It sounds like a bad case of long, drawn-out cabin fever. I love the combination of the chocolate with the peanut butter in these squares. I guess it would be hard to stop at one xx

  18. Shenandoah Vegan

    Well, you sound happy.

What is happening Dear Girl? Tell us all and don’t keep us in suspense!!

  20. msihua

oh Oh! What’s happening? And did you just serve up square flat lamingtons after lamington balls? 😛

  21. Libby

These look great, Hannah! Tempted to make some this weekend so that I can have something delicious to snack on during work (need to stop eating crappy freebie Cadbury chocolate that I get from the manager every Friday).

And ugh, we’re getting winter very soon. BOOOO! 🙁

  22. ash

I can feel the crackle of anticipation. Absolutely lovely writing Hannah (:

  23. Alisa

You had me at vegan no bake – holy yum!

  24. Heathy

Oooh, it sounds like love is in the air!!! 😉 And proud of you with the coconut. Yummmm peanut butter, chocolate and coconut – 3 of my favorite ingredients! xxx

  25. Heidi - Apples Under My Bed

I can totally smell the storm 🙂 Beautiful, lovely. As always. I love that you want. & I love that you can feel the change coming. I’d love it more if you sent me these squares right now, though.
    Heidi xo

  26. Ellie@Fit for the Soul

Yummmooo I love these kinds of no-bake treats!!! I loved the carob date bars with avocado frosting that you made a long time ago, and I know that these would be just as good.

  27. Heather @Gluten-Free Cat

Oh my, these look and sound delicious. You just can’t go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter! Please come share them at Raw Foods Thursday! And I look forward hearing what dances into your life next!

  28. Ricki

I have to agree that it sounds like winter/cabin/snow/ice fever. . . . but more is going on here, surely. Has it happened yet–?! And I am holding back a sigh this morning. . . just in case it’s not over yet. 😉

  29. hungryandfrozen

Hannah, this was more like a poem than a food blog post. From one bumblebee-keeper to another. xx
