those flavours are messing with my mind – I know people who would walk to other way when faced with such a chocolate but if confronted I would have to try it – just amazing – and love hearing your reactions as a vicarious second best to scoffing it down myself

I’m a little embarrassed to admit the amount of time I’ve spent on Chocomize in the past…..totally fruitlessly, mind you, given the lack of ability to ship to Australia etc etc etc… but nonetheless, I construct the most fabulous chocolate bars. Just amazing. And so heartbreakingly hypothetical 🙁

My latest creation is white chocolate with butter toasted peanuts, dried strawberries and raspberries, sea salt, and potato chips. In my mind, it’s like the PB&J of MY DREAMSSSSSSS.

Haha I do remember that conversation! And wow that is some crazy flavoured chocolate! I’m guessing that this is the chocolate to give to those who have tried everything! 😛

Oh wow, what a chocolate bar! You are a fantastic chocodesigner.

  5. Simply Life

I’ve never seen so many unique chocolate creations as on your blog – i love it!

Gotta admit I did narrow my eyes and go “hmmmmmnn” when I read this title but the more you talk about it the better it sounds. Edamame are so buttery and nutty, of course they’d work with chocolate 🙂 curry…I think I still need some more encouraging there.

I’ve never seen a chocolate bar like that in my life. So interesting. You should design chocolate bars for a living.

I love your blog by the way, but it could be because I love chocolate. I look forward to visiting again!

Wowee what an interesting idea. Such original mix ins too! Oh and of course if I make it to Canberra for a raw food tasting, I’ll be knocking on your door 😉

Milk chocolate, edamame, curry powder, and granola?? YOU ARE AWESOME. You win at chocolate, I don’t think your combo can be topped. Everyone may as well stop making chocolate now. Here’s a medal!

Johanna: Hurrah for fellow courageous chocolate-eaters! If only we lived nearer each other – I’d be willing to share 😀

L-Izzle: Why am I so totally and utterly not at all surprised? 😛 And not to burst your bubble, but isn’t your creation pretty much the Trader Joe’s PB and J bar, only hopefully good? (

Lorraine: And the other two flavours I picked would be for the person who’s tried everything but would like something a bt more normal 😀

    Stacy: Aww, I’m blushing 🙂

    Simply Life: Teehee, I try!

Hungryandfrozen: It definitely made me regret not buying the chocolate-covered edamame I saw in the US. And you need convincing about curry and chocolate? Just you wait, my friend. Just you wait 😀

Thehungryscholar: Thank you so much! I wish I could create chocolate for a living. Any chocolate companies out there hiring…? I hope you do visit again – we chocolate lovers have to stick together!

GirlonRaw: I’m going to take that as a promise. Raw Canberra night, here we come!

Agnes: You’re just saying that because you’re my Be Fri 😀 But regardless, you’ve warmed all the cockles of my heart -thank you. Except now I fear my other chocomize creations will be a disappointment!

    1. I hereby raise my hand and acknowledge my death metal devotion.
    2. I LOVE Wesley! I kinda-dated a guy long ago who looked just like him. He probably got sick of me telling him that, but oh well.
    3. What an insane yet awesome combo!
3a. I was going to say that anyway, based on just the title, but then
3b. YOU are the inventor (/inventress?)?! Bravo, bravo, my dear! A stroke of pure genius, to be sure.
    4. Congrats on the move-in!

Oooh! How long does this delightful discount go on? I’m going home in August, might be able to have some shipped to the parents for safekeeping. I love that your name is the discount code. Now who’s the superstar?

  13. croquecamille

Upon further investigation, I’d say that the temptation is definitely to make the most whacked-out candy bar possible. They have corn nuts! And date pieces! And Teddy Grahams! And mini-chipotles! And cashews! It’s difficult to excercise restraint when faced with choices like that.

  14. Hannah

Amber: Just as well you like death metal and I prefer musicals, otherwise I’d start to fear we’re the same person 😀 (Wesley: Just a few more steps and we’ll be safe in the fire swamp. Buttercup: But Wesley! We’ll never survive! Wesley: Nonsense, you’re just saying that because no one ever has.)

And thank you, my dear! If only Chocomize would hire me to create their crazy-pre-made flavours 😀

Camille: I wasn’t told of a time limit, so I’d guess a while? You could also order it now and just get your parents to store it for you 🙂 And me! I’m the superstar! Me! 😀 It really is tempting. If I didn’t fear customs, I probably would have done jerky + peanut butter chips + oregano + graham crackers. Nom nom nom.

Tee hee, based on the first paragraph of this post I am picturing you snuggled up on the benchtop in the kitchen, unable to sleep because you are so excited by the blue-ness of it. Crazy/interesting chocolate combinations!!

  16. Hannah

Theresa: That’s not a bad idea – the benchtop is far closer to the only built-in heater than my bedroom is 😀
