Cave of thrones! Ha! They sound really interesting. I will take the vegan black sesame ice cream.

    LOVE the look of these!

Also – actual LOL at “cavEpod”. 🙂

must use my coconut flour – 3 batches is high recommendation – wonder if I could grind black sesame seeds to make sesame seed powder (and while I agree these would be child friendly – they look quite like chocolate muffins and make me think of the time I gave my nephew some energy balls and he thought they were chocolate balls and was most displeased – you might need to manage the expectations of chocoholics!)

For a moment I was going to die of shock thinking YOU went paleo. Then you said the thing about crazy fad diets and I was all “that’s my girl.” Whew.

Thanks for the cave-LOLs. Paleo diets make me cringe but that wouldn’t keep me away from these muffins.

Goth Muffins. Couldn’t find black muffin cups? Do they have Halloween in Canada?

Ok these look kinda awesome, but maybe that’s just the black sesame talking.

These look perfect, what a lovely texture these look like they have. Aren’t you astounded by how well I composed that last sentence? I have a headache. Need a cave. & these muffins & a Hannah hug. Hope you have a nicer Monday than I am! Not even that bad but a bit meh. Muffins required x

Well…I’m sure these weren’t made in the caves but what a shame for them – they look moist and very delicious xx

You are a clever writer my dear, and the muffins look so moist and yummy.
I’ve seen sesame seed flour around, but just the ordinary cream coloured variety. It’s something I should probably get into, since almond meal isn’t my friend (gives me eczema).

I hope the weather is not too cold for you yet! It is unusually hot and dry over here, which I just adore! 🙂

I must confess that my heart sunk a little at seeing paleo in your blog, of all blogs!, but of course I have no qualms adding labels to my own recipes when they happen to fall into neat boxes and I was relieved to see you poking fun at the cave trend even as your recipe ticks this particular box 🙂

And, more importantly than any label…they sound lovely and are making me think I need black sesame powder in my life. I have never even heard of it! If it can trump chocolate in your list of ‘living off’ ingredients, it must be good indeed 😉

These look wonderful … but now I have to start filling up the pantry with weird and wonderful things again!

Hehe I’m picturing cavemen with ziplock bags-and not the basic ones you get here in Australia but the super double zipped ones you get in the US of course 😉

These look too good, I’m gonna have to track down some black sesame powder and make these this weekend!

YUmm, these looks delish darling! LOL you are so funny “no caveman had a ziplock bag of black sesame seeds” hehehe 🙂

I have just realized that my life is not complete because it does not include black sesame muffins. Is there any baked good that is not enhanced by black sesame? I keep meaning to try making black sesame brownies. That sounds like the most perfect dessert that ever was.

  18. Gabby @ the veggie nook

Hahahaha Cave of Thrones. THAT should be a thing! Now the only snacks appropriate while I watch that show will be black sesame treats. And I am ok with that 🙂

Where can you purchase black sesame seed flour? No store carries this where I live. Tried asian market also.
