I have to tell you something. I don’t like juices. Not that I don’t like the taste, but I LOVE to chew. So pass the chocolates and the strangely (in a good way) green muffins. xoxo

  2. Heidi - Apples Under My Bed

Well haven’t you just captured this day perfectly? I still can’t believe it happened, NYC sister. Take me back!! Love your face xo

Gorgeous. The post just wasn’t long enough and not enough photos.
So I’m eagerly anticipating part 2.

We are in the depths of winter now, so seeing two gorgeous girls in summer dresses is very psychologically uplifting! :-)

glorious green muffin and a shop devoted to artisan salt sounds so exciting (and chocolate too but I have never seen a salt shop before!) And I love how you have already picked up local knowledge of where to buy great juice. Sounds like fun with Heidi.

Yeah, you totally should have bought that dress! :)

  6. Kath (My Funny Little Life)

This made me very happy! There’s nothing better than doing something you’ve planned and looked forward to for a long time! :)

While most people would enjoy the warmth of female bonding, my favorite part of this post is your reflection in the window of the Juice shop and the Green Muffin.

It sounds like there are good times in NYC. And I’ve heard the weather is out-of-control-hot too. That muffin does look interesting. You would swear it had been coloured artificially for a kid’s birthday party but no, that’s just nature! xx

When I go to NY, I don’t have much time to explore past my little three block radius around the office. There’s a juice shop and vegan bakery called Terri that I always hit up for a green juice and muffin. MMMMM!!!!

That photo of you in front of the chocolate shelves made me smile. In fact, this whole post made me smile. And there’s a whole extra day to come!

What an epic meet-up. In NYC, no less. Kudos to both of you! :)

She does have a lovely face … I can see why you had a lovely day.

Oh deliciousness! That chocolate shop looks wondrous, and I am most intrigued by the green muffin.

So when I see you we best head off to Disneyworld.. OMG.. that better be our plan else I’d be sooooo annoyed!!!!

What a perfect day! I must go to NYC, you’ve made it sound so wonderful!

Is it weird that I actually like the taste of spirulina and would welcome it in a muffin? Not that a vanilla-esque muffin sounds bad either ;)
