I love the sound of the superfoods salad but I really want those pancakes and scramble and tempeh bacon – are there places that do this in melbourne – please say yes!

  2. janet @ the taste space

Well, it is back to being cold in Toronto, so your heat and ice cream are downright tropical.

Maybe I need to order different things when I go to Fresh? Few things woo me when I eat there.

What a nice little brunch ritual to have with a great friend! Everything looks tasty, especially eyeing that tempeh bacon. So glad you’re finally getting to enjoy some sunshine too!

Oranges just seem to follow you around. Or maybe I’m just more aware of their presence precisely because you hate them so 😉

I love Fresh and love that breakfast! I’ve had it once and was in heaven.

Sarah sounds lovely! And just so you know, I miss your face too!

I must have missed the part about you hating oranges. CA has to be a scary place for someone so anti-orange.

As to the chick-o-sticks, look for a Dollar Tree store in that area. I don’t know about the other dollar stores but I see chick-o-sticks in Dollar Tree all the time. And…only a $1.00. You should be able to get a stash there.

The pretzel M&Ms sound interesting. Might have to see if those are in the stores in Oregon.

Good lord! This post makes me sooo giddy! I’ve been swooning over Fresh since I bought the Refresh recipe book. Omg. You lucky girl!! I was super sad when I went to Vancouver & Winnipeg and they didn’t have restaurants there. You had me at broccoli (in your first dish), but the superfood salad & grilled cornbread look pretty special too! <3 So much envy and happiness right now.

It’s good to know there’s some vegan options in Tortonto. I like your top in the photos. Hope you get to see Sarah again soon.

I love meeting all of the interesting people that you meet along your travels! And can I say you look particularly lovely in these photos-that colour suits you! 😀

It’s great to know that GF free menus are widely available in Toronto 🙂 and i’d like to try htat brownie!

Grilled cornbread! Hello! Tempeh bacon, on the other hand, is boggling my mind!

Ha, I snort every time an orange features on your blog. Mu haha. Sounds like a treat – lovely lady friend plus lovely delicious fare… always a great combo.

I think ‘face’ has been ruined for me for the rest of today. It has moved to the odd word list that inevitably comes about if you focus on a word too much! (Although I do agree that Sarah’s face is very agreeable and probably worth focusing on when you’re in the same house with her and/or across a table from her.)

I’d like all of the food, but not the scrambled tofu, which is a food that looks too much like scrambled eggs for me to embrace. Ick.

That food does look very good. That salad looks so fresh and amazing. I can’t believe you had to wait six months to sit outside on that balcony – such an un-Australian idea xx

Seriously can’t wait to be in TO…less than a few months now! I’ll have to be careful not to blow all my money at awesome restaurants. Also, <3 devilfruit, ha ha.

  15. Whispering Gums

Faces and food all look fantabulous.

  16. Heathy

Yummy!!! Such wonderful food adventures! I cant wait to live in a place where I have access to these kinds of healthy restaurants! xoxo

    What fun photos! So cute!

Oooh gluten free blueberry pancakes. I want I want I want!

You are looking sweel (I was gonna correct it to swell but thought I’d keep to our tradition) my dear 🙂
