What a happy post Miss Spay Lady! And here I am already wanting to go to Toronto to meet up with Eva from KitchenInspirations! 🙂

  2. janet @ the taste space

You always find the most delightful things in Toronto. The newbie charm of Toronto has sadly already warn off of me, although it may just be exam stress talking right now. 🙁

Ermgerddd! Excite! 🙂 Let me know if you know where you’ll be in June! 😀

Yay for California! Yay for travelling! Yay for travelling in the United States! Yay for falling in love with Toronto!

Start packing alright!!! Love it. Yay for being excited about a fall return. It sounds just glorious, truly. As does Patty King!

You’re heading back to Toronto in the Fall? That means you’ll only know Toronto by its winters! I would love to have a go at that crossword. Love the look of those doughnuts. So glad to hear you are off on another adventure – I have to live vicariously through you. Good luck with the packing up xx

    What a beautiful, joyful post!

Jamaican food is exotic to me too! I’ve only had it once (jerk chicken with hard food and patties) but I really loved it. I’d love to try one of those doubles – looks delicious!

Hope you have a wonderful time in California!!

Ah, so much fun, happiness & deliciousness – plus HOW EXCITING on the travel front…. can’t wait to be envious of all your adventures 😉

Another great post Hannah … not sure I love the idea of your building a life in Toronot but I do love the fact that you are happy doing so!

Ok seriously, we must adventure in TO when you return because you find the BEST things!!

Have an amazing time in the US dear and I cannot wait for your return 🙂

Those grater cakes look seriously burlesque to me. They also look enticing… I guess that’s the appeal of burlesque, eh? And even if our sushi is overly-ornate, it’s only because we need to find a way to put condiments on everything (spicy mayo sauce!).

  14. Kari @ bite-sized thoughts

I have a new appreciation for these posts now that I can dare to believe I may actually see some of these sights in person, albeit in far less time than if I was living there. You better come back from America, ok?

In the mean time, though, I hope you have the most wonderful time in California – it will probably be WARM! – and wherever you’re headed after that 🙂 Knowing you have Toronto to return to with good memories must be a nice spot to be in.

While I’ve always felt like Canada was a bit too similar to Australia to intrigue me as a traveller, your obvious love for it is most definitely swaying me. And, hurrah for more adventures!

What!!! Batman works at your internship – sounds like fun 🙂

I don’t need much encouragement but this post does fill me with longing to visit toronto – makes me wonder why you would leave – but wish you good luck with packing (just come to me if you need lessons in real procrastination) and with your travels

So exciting that you’re off to California in 2 days! I’m glad that Toronto has been such a lovely experience for you. The magazine will realize how much they miss you when you leave and will be begging for you to come back when you return 😉 (with a PAID position of course).

  18. Keren

Sounds like Toronto has made itself pretty easy to fall in love with … in fact I’m almost sold on my east/west internal debate, which I’m sure will change again the moment I see another west coast photo from someone!

I hope you’ll post on your California travels as well. Some of us Americans have probably seen a lot less of our country than you have/will.

I will count down the days until your return. I promise it will be hot in July and August. We will have to have iced coffee and walk on the boardwalk together. You still have lots of Toronto to explore. Until then…safe journeys!

You really are living the life, Hannah. Every photo saw my grin get wider and wider. California ain’t going to know what’s hit it!

  22. Sig @ Melbourne Maharani

Toronto looks wonderful!! I have friends who just moved there and they keep saying to visit so I am going to hit up all these places when I eventually go.

Also – I just spied “Happiest Baby on the block” book in your last picture – just bought it!

PS – since you interned at a parenting mag, I am going to assume you now know kids and will be go to for all advice 😀

    Have fun travelling! 🙂

And these sweets look so great!
