I will be buying that potato chip chocolate bar on my next trip to Wegmans, thank you very much. How do we Americans come up with such amazing things??? 🙂

I really eat to try that potato chip bar. Actually, I want to make my chocolate potato chip cookies with it!

  5. Silvia

I want that first bar. The idea sounds completely weird, but I believe you that it tastes great.

OK I admit I used to dip french fries in soft serve. So good.

I know the feeling of blog backlog… sometimes I just want to leave the kitchen for a month to get it back to the future. Instead, I mix old with new… 🙂 The old are good and the new ever better. 🙂

So the potato chips stayed crunchy? A while ago, I think it was you posted about a trader joe’s chocolate bar filled with peanut butter, jam and potato chips… and then I made a slice based on that, but my chips went soggy. I never did get around to trying again, but maybe I should now. Dipping the chips in chocolate might make them stay crunchy…

Finally… no more stuffing my mouth with chocolate before shoveling in a handful of chips in order to get this effect. LIKE AN ANIMAL. Science is amazing. What? Yeah!

Potato chip bar? Hannah, stop making things up.

I am disappointed in the raw caramel bar on your behalf (and mine for that matter), but what my brain is taking from this post is “crisps in chocolate – wait that doesn’t work – but there’s a picture of them – no, not possible – but there’s a picture of them – myheadhurts”.

America has a lot to answer for, sometimes 😉

What??? You have been in Canada for three months???
    Wow, that went quick huh?
Now, I LOVE potato chips a real lot, but I am still not sure about putting them in a chocolate bar…

    Happy New Year to you:)

Chocolate and chips together makes me go all tingly. That bar would be my guilty secret:) I am Jacks clogged arteries.

I love the Enviro kids cereal even though I am very much not a kid. My eyes are peeled for the peanut butter ones but I’ve never been successful. Thankfully I can live through you!

Good to know that the potato chip element is incorporated with success. It’s the sort of thing I can imagine being either really tacky-yuck or really cool-interesting-delicious!

I want to eat everything on this post, they look delicious

  16. Hotly Spiced

I’m so surprised. I thought the potato chip chocolate was going to be vile and the caramel chocolate magnificent. This is an upside down world xx

The filling does look dry in the centre but I think you took away all the ack with the picture of panda on a cereal box! 😛 If only they were panda shaped!

that is impressive to get potato crisps and lucuma into one post – I once made choc chip cookies with potato crisps in them – it made sense in theory but was actually a bit greasy – I’ve never cooked with lucuma though but hope to one day

Damn, I want that potato chip chocolate bar. Hmmm. Maybe there’s a market for chocolate covered chips. I could be rich!

  20. Ashley

Peanut butter panda puffs?! I don’t think my brain even knows how to figure that one out. It’s interesting that I’ve seen potato chips covered in chocolate, but not a chocolate bar with potato chips in them…sounds pretty delicious though. Nommsss.
