I see those Hail Merry tarts everywhere but the price honestly turns me away. You’re going to have to tell me how the chocolate on is.

  2. Lisa @ bakebikeblog

again, just delightful! glad to see that you are embracing all this wonderfulness!

Your joy gives fairy wings to my heart dear girl … so much in need of happy sparkly words to lift me out of this dreary heavy day … and sunshine, so much sunshine … beautiful, colourful photos … and wanderlust and dreaming … yes, yes, mad as the Hatter today …

  4. Emma

You knew the directions? Atta girl:) How were the sprouted flavored lentils? How was the creepy Yoko Ono imposter in the window? How were the sneakers (not heels!) on day two?

    Onwards to Chi-town!

So many nice memories here for me. I’ve been to most of those places. Your photos really take me back. 🙂

So much happiness and goodness here, I love it. Seems like you’re becoming a regular New-Yorker already. Good for you and knowing the directions 🙂 I remember when I moved to Dublin- the first time someone asked me for directions I knew the answer, I felt like a true Dubliner and like I belonged! I wonder how long that will take me in Toronto!

Keep on enjoying the moments 🙂

Yay for the joy of giving directions in a city which is not your own. What an awesome day. I’m hoping all that walking means your feet are doing ok now. I’m loving your view of NY.

  8. Hotly Spiced

It sounds like you are having an amazing time. How lovely to be in all that warm weather after the cold of Canberra. And I’m enjoying the self-portraits but will there be one of you in the new swimsuit??? xx

  12. Kari @ bite-sized thoughts

You bought swimmers for the first time in your life? My dear Hannah, what have you been swimming in before now?!

On the other things…well, I think you can guess my thoughts 🙂 xox

    1. whisperinggums

Good question … she has had swimmers before. She just hasn’t bought them for herself!

travel must be the answer if it makes you so lyrically happy – it is rainy grey here but snuggly with heater on and chocolate cake in the oven. But I love to hear all about your happy happy travels – blue agave, and kale juice sound wonderful and those spots look such fun – enjoy your swimmers

YAY for joy!! And is that Yayoi Kusuma in that red and white dot photo? She’s amazing! 🙂

  15. Louise

Sprouted lentils? Really? Sweet sprouted lentils? Savoury? Was it bad? Go on- you can tell me. The other things look more intriguing. Well apart from that red and white spotted window- that just looks disturbing. Glad you’re having a fabulous time over there.
