You’re such a cute little kiddo.
I too pretty much negate my massive bed my sing an tenth of it in the fetal position

I’m 24 too and I frequently forget it as well. When people ask how old I am, I tend to start to tell them that I’m 21 before I remember that I’m really not, haha! Time has flown so fast!

Love this post Hannah. You always make me smile. I anticipate reading your post when I see it come up on my blog roll :D xo

Oh the dreaded silver cloud!! I’m generally feeling a lot like that by Thursday afternoon too. Who am I kidding, I spend half my life feeling like that. Can always count on you to bring out a smile though – which I have to say I really needed when I read this on the train in to work this morning. I am also now seriously contemplating finding where Darrel Lea hides in this big city so I can seek them out at lunch time, I haven’t had caramel snows for years :)

I loved reading this post but am sorry to hear you often don’t sleep well.
I regularly have that problem too. In your case I think it’s because there is too much creativity in your mind! :)

  6. Kari @ bite-sized thoughts

Oh darling, I hope you sleep on the plane!

My concerns for your tiredness levels aside, this was highly (highly!) enjoyable :) Especially the introduction to new words like wonkysplash, which I am definitely adopting and dropping into conversation as soon as possible. I also relate to the condiment issue. It is an issue here too. Especially as some have drizzled into the condiment shelf in the fridge and it is now a sticky, overcrowded mess. Someone really should do something about that…

Love the post and I definitely identify with the tiredness, although I don’t really have anything to blame it on – so lets blame the weather shall we? :)

why have I never discovered caramel snows – I want one (or 10). obviously there are some advantages to spending time at the airport at 6.30am – enjoyed your wee A to Z – and am now wishing you lots of ZZZZs (that is sleep not zoo animals though cuddly zoo animals would love your skank bed – just shame there isn’t enough room for a gangly giraffe)

I also meant to say that there is lots you can do with Hannah for nicknames – Hanny. Hanna Barbera. Hannah the Goanna. And my favourite – Hanky Panky.!!!! But Hannah is a very nice name so maybe people don’t feel the need for nicknames

Why oh why can’t there be more letters in the alphabet so that I can read more of your exuberant silliness? The people demand a similar quiz in Egyptian hieroglyphs!

  10. Lou

Love this… might have to steal it and complete it too, it’s a fun way to find out things about you :) Red Panada are so cute, I want to squeeze them. That would be mean. :)

  11. whisperinggums

    Nicknames? Hannah Goanna, of course.

  12. Chopinand @ ChopinandMysaucepan

    Dear Hannah,

You have a pet seal?? Please show us some pics. LOL to the supposed quips that might happen about your big bed. Thanks for giving us an insight into your charming and delightful personality :)

  13. Agnes

Very proud of you for not answering the U question. Well done.

Also: Pet peeve’s aye? Mwahaha. (See what I did there?)

  14. Mike

Dear Hannah, you say your mind feels like a shimmering undulating cloud, well I think you have a rare case of altocumulus undulatus asperatus. Not to worry, coz if you look at the following x-ray picture you will see that you have a firm grip on the situation, which I think is very re-assuring. A strong dose of chocolate smothered in peanut butter is the best remedy for you. Good luck! http://undulatus-asperatus.org.lu/

This is such a lovely one and if you’re 104, then I’m 2004.

The age, not the year….. Can I borrow this meme?

  16. Lorraine @ Not Quite Nigella

You know I think that your A_Z is very similar to mine-it’s a little bit eerie! except the age thing :P

  17. Three-Cookies

For your pet seal do you catch the fish every morning? Then you talk about feeding your fish. I get it now, you have a food chain going on, feed the fish and the seals feed on the fish. I am impressed.

What a great post. A sneak peak into the life of Han! :) Hope ya have a wonderful weekend bestie. Xxx

Homg, I know what you mean about breaking the spine of a book. Andy is so rough with books – leaves them lying open-side down, for days on end. And he folds the corners of pages. It makes me cringe.

No nicknames for Hannah? What about Hannah Banana?

  20. Kelly @ Foodie Fiasco

You are so cool! I just found your blog and totally love it. ;)

What is age? But a number. I just put a picture of myself on the blog and tried to get people to guess how old I am and the answers almost have me on the floor laughing. Almost.

  21. Catherine

I was also wondering about the seal. Huh? And I like piano players (couldn’t sing to save myself though). Do you still play? After playing forever as a young thing I stopped for years and have only become serious again over the past three years with a quite daunting maestro. I am hooked on Bach! It does help with the silver cloud days.

Looking forward to some new wild recipes.

Your dog is adorable!!! :) and you look stunning in that last picture!

Lovely post full of wonderful Hannah factoids, thanks again for the link! I too hate incorrect grammar. I do however make constant mistakes with mine, so go figure. I feel hesitant about apostrophes, yet always use them and I am very keen with the commas. And I also start sentences with and. And but. But I like that. I need a grammar lesson. I do have their and there, your and you’re down pat though. I win those battles. ANYWAY. Back to you. Jedda is gorgeous, I find your answer to the kids question hilarious, and I really admire you for having a pet seal and being dedicated to feed it smelly fish. Must be hard work! Yay for these kinds of random posts.

I adore this alphabet of yours! :D May I do an alphabet as well?

  25. Emma

They skipped grammar in my grade. But whatever, it just allowed me to be more pissy to the grammar-less fools around me:)

Now to invoke wrath – can’t say I care much about feminism, and I’ve definitely made more than one comment about disliking women’s sports. I guess I’m just pissy in all functions of life, although I also wish that it was easier to find non-pants outfits from the ’30s and ’40s. Women are okay and stuff though, it’s all good.

But I’m progressive in other aspects, such as eating massive amounts of my daily caloric intake in sugar. And ripping up my rampion. And only being 24 for one more month oh my gosh I am getting so so so so old so so so so quickly. At least I was just asked today if I’m a college freshman, har har.

  26. Louise

What a fun alphabet! As a child I thought Chocolate Caramel Snows where IT. The height of deliciousness. I had some a couple of years ago and just found them sweet. Not much else, but sweet. I don’t think I’ve thought of them since til just now, and now I’m going to have to buy some soon.

  27. Mike

You are so so beautiful. I would marry you in a second :)
